A little bit about me.

 

Hatha yoga, Flow yoga, Vinyasa, Karma yoga and Restorative yoga.

Karina is a yoga teacher and mindfulness coach with over 15 years teaching experience and over 25 years of personal practice. she initially trained in India in Hatha and Vinyasa Flow and has subsequently studied Karma yoga, Restorative yoga, Yoga Therapy and Flow yoga, with both eastern and western teachers and practitioners.

Raised in Scotland by hippy parents, Karina has been immersed in the traditions of yoga and their teachings since childhood, travelling in her adulthood to study as a yoga teacher in India. Karina’s journey into teaching yoga was deeply informed by her own experiences of the healing and transformative power of yoga in her own life.

Karina’s teaching is deep, fluid and guided by intuition. Her style of practice mindfully sequences postures and flows offering variations for all levels of ability. Her practice encourages students to honour their bodies and feelings, whilst bringing attention to breath and alignment. She is known for her fluent delivery, clear instructions and use of inspirational, from the heart, lived yogic philosophy in class both on and off the mat.

When Karina isn’t teaching or studying, she is usually travelling in the company of her daughters or recharging her batteries in her beloved spiritual home of Andalucía.
